An exhibition of films from Fearghus’ Bodies and Buildings series will be shown as part of the Engage Arts Festival in Bandon.
The short films are part of Fearghus’ research in to the relationship between bodies and buildings that began with his work as Artist in Residence for Dublin City Council in 2007. The films are cameraphone recordings of site-specific performances in Dublin, Beijing, Shanghai, and Berlin. They include a performance on the building site of the Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing.
Alongside the Bodies and Buildings films, the exhibition also includes Match and Mo Mhórchoir Féin that were commissioned for RTÉ Dance on the Box.
